Honeywell CM907: Mastering Your Thermostat’s Features
Honeywell created the CM 907 programmable thermostat several years ago. It’s a top-tier weekly programmable thermostat that, unfortunately, has had some issues with its display. In reality, the rest of the program continues to function normally, schedules and settings activate correctly, and the problem only arises when making new programming changes or adjusting the time.
Regarding the product in good condition, programming is done by opening the plastic casing and moving the selector on the right to the appropriate programming function. This is where you start programming the device, which, being weekly, can set the operating temperature for each day of the week. This makes it suitable for families with busy work schedules who need to differentiate between weekdays and holidays for scheduling.

Programming by Intervals on Honeywell CM907
Regarding programming, there is an interval-based operation that consists of scheduling daily time slots based on the desired temperatures and times. You can therefore modify the time of the slot and the desired temperature. Another positive note is that the thermostat doesn’t just offer the classic three settings (Economy, On, and Comfort); instead, you can freely adjust the operating temperature.
As I mentioned, programming is carried out using the selector on the right, which needs to be moved to the setup position. Once finished, you’ll have to move it back to manual or automatic mode. To program, you only need three buttons: the up and down arrows, then there are left and right arrow buttons to move horizontally through the days, for example, and the OK button to confirm. Another button allows you to copy the current day’s program to the next, and so on. This feature, along with the degree selection, distinguishes this high-end product.
Additional Features
The Honeywell CM907 thermostat offers other interesting functions, which you can learn more about in the instruction manual provided below (downloadable). It’s worth mentioning the Party program (for home celebrations), mid-week vacation mode, and a fully-fledged vacation mode.
