IMIT TECHNO WPT Thermostat: Comprehensive Guide, FAQs, instruction Manual
The IMIT TECHNO WPT Thermostat allows numerous adjustments to the room temperature, both weekly and daily. It is suitable for cast iron radiators, aluminum radiators, and underfloor heating. It provides a 30-minute interval connection and has a wide and easily readable display.
This thermostat can operate in either heating or cooling mode. Once the mode is selected, the thermostat’s logic changes as follows:
If in HEATING mode: The thermostat closes the contact if the detected temperature is lower than the set temperature.
Conversely, in COOLING mode: The thermostat’s logic aims to close the contact if the detected temperature is higher than the set one.
The thermostat is therefore applicable where the system is designed to cool environments, such as offices with fan-coil units that are irrigated by the cooling system.
If you don’t want to use the program, you can always use the manual mode to operate the heating around the clock.

Useful Tips
Tips for optimal use of the IMIT TECHNO WPT thermostat.
The thermostat has 3 Temperature settings (Comfort / Economic / Frost Protection).
- We suggest a Comfort temperature of 18°C +/- to be used when the apartment is occupied and you want to achieve maximum comfort.
- We recommend an Economic temperature of 16°C to be used when the apartment is unoccupied and during the night.
- You can take advantage of the thermostat’s ability to program in half-hour intervals by using this strategy:
- If you have aluminum radiators, you can turn on the heating about 30 minutes earlier due to the high efficiency of this material.
- If you have cast iron radiators, on the other hand, turn on the heating at least an hour earlier to allow the heating system to reach its operational state. However, you can turn it off an hour earlier to fully benefit from the thermal inertia of this type of radiator.
Battery Replacement
To replace the batteries in the IMIT TECHNO WPT thermostat, use the right and left sides to remove the base from the panel and access the battery compartment.
Replace the batteries approximately every 2 years to prevent malfunctions in the heating system.
Mounting and Installation
The regulator should be mounted in the reference room.
The unit should be placed where it is easiest to measure the average room temperature, away from sunlight or cold sources.
The unit should be situated away from sources of disturbance, for instance:
- Do not mount on metallic surfaces.
- Do not place near electrical cables, electrical devices such as PCs, TVs, microwave ovens, etc.
- Do not install the unit close to metal walls or construction elements made of metal.
